My New Cell Phone
If I were buying myself a new phone and I could have any Net10 or Tracfone phone.
My New phone would be one of six.
The Motorola W376 Tracfone
The Motorola W375 Net10
The LG 600 Tracfone
The LG 600 Net10
Lg 225 Tracfone
LG 225 Net10
I use between 200 and 600 minutes a month. Most of the time I use 200-300. I work in a couple of offices and both of them have a phone I can make local calls and one has Skype service that I can make unlimited long distance calls in the United States or Canada.
First Choice Net10 or Tracfone?
I would choose Net10.com because of the 5 cents a minute deal. I am buying minutes for 5 cents and I cannot get them that cheap from Tracfone. Tracfone Out How to Get 5 cent minutes from Net10
Lg 600 vs Motorola W375 vs LG 225.
External screen on the Lg 600 and LG 225 but not on the W375. I like the external window to see who is calling before answering. This is not a deal breaker either way.
Phone Shape
The Lg 225 is round with an antenna stalk while the 600 and the W375 are both larger thinner squarish phones. Just a personal choice but I like the squarish phones without the antenna stalk better. LG 225 out.
Camera.
Both have ok cameras I use it ocassionally but again since I have to send a picture over the phone I don’t use it often.
Spare Battery and Charger.
I like that I can get a spare Motorola W370 for free from Tracfone with the purchase of an $80 card. This gives me a spare charger and battery I can leave at my other office. I work out of two offices and sometimes my battery is low. It would be nice to have an extra battery and charger. Cure for a Motorola W376 Weak Battery.
Bluetooth
I do not care since I cannot sync with my computer with Net10 and I do not use a Bluetooth headset.
Phone Feel
Here is where I finally make my decision. I really like both phones and this is totally personal but I like the keys on the LG 600 a little bit better, the external screen is a plus. The LG 600 is a little bit smoother on the outside also. I would carry any of the three phones there are just minor differences.

I made this decision without regard to the prices of the different phones.
Best Bang for Buck Nice phone
If I was after the best phone for the best price with very little usage I would buy the TracFone Deal on the LG 225 with One year Card for $100. I recently bought one for a friend and she ended up with 1120 minutes 14 months of service and a brand new DMFL LG 225 Camera Phone.
Best Bang for a Buck
The best deal in Prepaid is the Net10 Nokia 1600 with the phone card for $30. The phone works OK but I do not like candy bar style phones because I carry my phone in my pocket all the time. I buy these two at a time when I need minutes for my Net10 phone. I activate and transfer the minutes to my phone. Buy two Net10 Nokia 1600 for $60 and get 1200 minutes from Net10.com.
Funny I didn’t know which phone I would choose before I wrote this article.
