If your phone has a C at the end of it then it is a CDMA phone and it works on the Verizon network. If your phone has a G in the number it is a GSM phone and works on the At&t network.

The majority of the plans that are mentioned in this article sound amazing. However nothing will make me change from my starighttalk unlimited data, minutes, and more plan. Is just $45/month. I have yet to find a worthy competitor. And lets face it the economy still sucks i can barely put gas on my car haha. I need all the savings i can get.

I have to agree with you Rosie, by far to me and most of my family actually, Net10 is the best 10 cents a minute plan out there. The reason i have stayed with them for so long is because i love the flexibility they offer. I have switched often from the pay as you go plan to the unlimited $50/month plan and i love that i can do that. And i heard rumors that their signal is actually carried on Verizon and AT&T towers and that's why they are so reliable, does anyone know anything about this?

Yes you will have to add at least $15 a month for six months to your prepaid Verizon phone before they will let you convert it to a Contract phone.

I have a question about "Converting Verizon Wireless Prepaid to Verizon Contract Service".

If I activate a Verizon prepaid phone and then don't add any more money onto it, will I still be able to use it six months later on a contract phone, or does the prepaid phone need to be active for those six months, with money on it?

I still think Net10 (part of Tracfone) is the best at 10c per minute and 5c per text! It's so much easier to calculate the cost of one's calls and texts than trying to remember which discount plan you're on!
