Most of the phones that Net10 uses use the At&t and or T-Mobile network. The CDMA phones use the Verizon network. They are only for sale in areas that do not have good coverage by At&t or T-mob.

I saw that the article mentioned Net10. I was reading up on them and supposedly, they utilize the Verizon network, but are SOOOO much cheaper than any of their plans. For $.10 a minute (flat rate any time) you get to use one of the best networks (if not THE best network) and make calls and text. The phones are pretty inexpensive as well, so i recommend it to anyone trying to save money on their wireless and still get what they NEED.

Even though Verizon is a pretty good deal, I don’t think that it beats the plan I have an love- Net10. I have a great qwerty keyboard phone and since I just got it, I get the first 2 months of service and 300 minutes for free. I’m very happy with it.
